Our Project

iLEX Energy Corporation has developed an 89-Bcfe “La Puerta (Queen City)” conventional gas prospect in the Rio Grande Embayment in Starr County, South Texas. The prospect targets the Queen City sands in our 2,362-acre block which is mapped at 150 to 300 feet thick at depths from 8,500 to 9,200 feet. The Queen City sands are being interpreted in both structural and stratigraphic contexts with stratigraphy playing the primary role in producibility.  Yegua, Cook Mountain, and Wilcox are secondary objectives with significant upside potential. iLEX seeks to drill the initial well in 2022 and seeks one or more investors to join us.
