Chief Technical Officer
Mark Puckett is a geophysics professional with extensive experience in operations, interpretation, and business development. After graduating from the University of Kentucky in electrical engineering in 1980, Mr. Puckett began a long career with Schlumberger before retiring in 2015 after he was a global domain manager (geophysics) for four years at headquarters in France. He possesses strong skills in technology evaluation, interpretation of measurements, project management, and business planning and development, and has worked on projects throughout the US Lower 48 (extensively in the Rocky Mountains and Mid-Continent) and offshore Gulf of Mexico, working on projects in both the shelf and deepwater. His wide-ranging managerial and executive experience includes working with multidisciplinary teams in operations and interpretation, coordinating projects between field, engineering, and research teams, and driving the development of new and advancing technologies. Mr. Puckett joined iLEX in 2015 to help design and provide quality assurance for iLEX's seismic acquisition programs, and now is leading the iLEX geoscience team in interpreting the results, managing the design of iLEX's 3D survey programs, providing innovative petrophysical interpretation, coordinating and managing all subsurface activities, and manages the technical platforms of iLEX Energy Corporation.
